Will Ferrell stars as Buddy, an adult human who was raised by elves at the North Pole. When the news is finally broken to Buddy that he’s a not a real elf, he decides to head to New York City to find his birth father—a man who is on Santa’s naughty list for being a heartless jerk, and has no idea that Buddy was ever born. Buddy, meanwhile, experiences the delights of New York as only an “elf” can. Elf also stars Ed Asner, James Caan, Mary Steenburgen, Zooey Deschanel, and Bob Newhart.
